The Canterbury Branch offers its Members a varied programme of activities each year which usually includes talks, meals out, a summer party, a pre-Christmas lunch and outings to locations of interest. The aim is to allow members to mix and get to know their fellow members better, whilst promoting matters of interest relating to the County of Kent. In April 2019 the Canterbury Branch held its AGM. At the conclusion of official business, once the committee was voted in for a further year, there was the annual presentation of £250 charity cheques. This year there were four benefiting charities:
